Karolina Sikora

Karolina Sikora

Karolina has worked at the research institute Arctic Centre in Rovaniemi and earned her PhD in legal anthropology at the University of Lapland. She specializes in research in the Russian North, where she has conducted ethnographic fieldwork with Izhma Komi communities across different regions. Her work explores informal normative systems that shape livelihoods and cultural heritage, including folklore and reindeer herding. Within the EnJUSTICE project Lund University team, Karolina is responsible for continuous, long-term fieldwork in the Swedish part of Sápmi.
