Ida is an Associate Professor in the Department of Sociology of Law at Lund University. Her main research interests are formal social control and social justice, which have manifested in various projects, such as those focusing on structural racism, transformative justice, abolition, and national minorities. She is the co-editor of the journal Justice, Power and Resistance and the director of the second- and third-cycle programs in the sociology of law.
